A rough sawn Eastern hemlock great room with a timber framed den on one side and kitchen and dining room on the other, creates a beautiful and unique Sugarbush ski house. An open timber stairway wraps behind the central stone chimney to access the second floor. Structural insulated panels insulate the roof of the great room, but the roof and walls of the rest of the house are stick framed and insulated with sprayed-in isocyanurate foam. Exterior timber porches, gable-end brackets and trusses, and exposed rafter tails add detail to the superbly finished Adirondack style exterior.
